Boston Park League: Keeping Amateur Baseball Alive in Boston

When I first heard about the Boston Park League, it was in December of last year. The 2016 season was over, and the 2017 season hadn’t yet begun. It was Chris Venuti, of Harry’s Breakfast and Lunch, who told me about the league over breakfast one morning. I knew immediately that there was a story there, but what I didn’t realize, was the sheer amount of talent, passion, dedication and commitment that was involved in this league. From the players and the coaches, to the board and the fans – they show up 3-5 nights a week during the summer, and they play baseball.

Dozens of people, and they all have one thing in common  – the love of the game.
