If you’ve ever planned a birthday party, or any type of social event, you know how much work goes into it. A lot. Like, A LOT. So when I come across people that do it for a living, I’m in awe.
This past weekend, I was invited to experience a sampling of what MarketStreet, one of the largest open-air marketplaces in the Greater Boston area, has to offer.
Living just south of Boston, Lynnfield (on the North Shore) just isn’t a place that I frequent often. It’s about a 45 minute drive. But when I was offered the opportunity to join some fellow Boston bloggers, to “stroll the street”, I was all in. We spent the day “retail hopping” from one shop to another where we learned about some of the outdoor mall’s newest boutiques and foodie hot spots.
I hate tea. Always have. But I so desperately want to like it. I’ve tried so many times. I’ve tried all the styles – green, black, herbal. All the flavors – from fruits to flowers. Cold. Hot. You name it, I’ve tried it.
Anyone who knows me (even in the slightest) will know that I usually, almost always, have two things on when I leave the house. The first being some sort of heel (I’m 5’0″ – hello!), and the second, is a lip color. I have an obsession with both things, but because the latter is easier to snag at a moment’s notice, I have quite the collection.
Last week, Bostonians everywhere were running around town in sunnies and shorts, soaking up the (almost) 60 degree weather. This pre-spring fever is something that happens every year around this time.
