About a year ago – maybe less – is the first time that I was introduced to floating. Or, float therapy – as some call it. It’s a specialty wellness experience offered at Cloud 9 in Jamaica Plain (about 10 min south of the downtown Boston). Floating (also known as sensory deprivation therapy) is where you immerse yourself into a 200-gallon pod that’s filled with about 800-1,000 pounds (!!) of salt, on average.
I want to preface this post by saying that this is an open letter to myself, my friends, my supporters, haters (if I’ve got ’em!), the universe – everyone. This letter is raw, emotional and 100% authentic. I appreciate your support in advance, as I’m sure you know, one of the most difficult things in life is to be vulnerable and let your walls down. What you’re about to read is me doing just that. And while it may seem a bit disjointed at times, I recorded the thoughts as they came to me in order to maintain their integrity and to capture the emotion that I was feeling as I was writing…
Boston is one of the most picturesque cities in the United States. It’s charming, quaint, clean and has stories woven throughout from the historical events that have taken place here. It’s no wonder that it’s consistently rated one of the top cities in America to visit by Travel & Leisure.
It’s that time again! The Holidays. Is it just me or does it feel like we just did this…like, yesterday!?! Crazy how time flies. I feel like I say that more and more the older I get. 😄🤷
Anyway! Without further ado, I give you my 2018 Holiday Gift Guide! 🎁
My trip to Aruba this past summer was nothing short of incredible. If you missed it, check out my experience at Flamingo Beach – the photos alone are worth the click!
So, instead of writing a bunch of text explaining my trip, I thought a photo essay would be most appropriate given that at every turn Aruba was just stunning. Talk about photo opps! 😍 So, take a peak at my trip below – from behind the lens! 📷 Enjoy!
