A couple weeks ago I was talking to my friend Michele about how much I wanted to do a “staycation”. You know, where you pretend you’re on a mini vacation by renting a hotel room and hitting the town like a tourist in your own city. Seriously, how fun!?
My work has taken me to some really amazing places – all here in the U.S. (so far!) – and all very cool and unique in their own right. In fact, I was taken to some places that I probably wouldn’t have ever explored, had I not been “forced” to go for work. So for that, I’m thankful. But what’s really been cool about being able to travel so much is that I’ve learned that traveling by myself is actually a lot of fun. And rewarding at the same time!
Boston is – hands down – one the coolest cities in the country. I say that being a fairly avid traveler and resident Bostonian. I’ve traveled to a good deal of U.S. cities, and I appreciate all of them. They each bring their own unique style and flair, but none compares to my city.
Pop quiz! What’s better than caramel, apples and cinnamon in the fall? Answer: nothing! Seriously though, the combination is a classic warmer weather combo, and one that I just can’t get enough of. My recent post highlighting Fireball Cider Jell-O Shots, is proof of that!
I’ve been pretty MIA lately on my blog (you may have noticed), but it’s for good reason! I did something a little crazy a couple weeks ago…I,uh, launched this little thing called a BUSINESS. Yeah. So, needless to say, things have been pretty busy around here lately.😁
