It wasn’t until about a five years ago that I really started getting into home decor and decorating, rearranging, etc. And when I started my business over a year ago now, I started thinking more about making sure the space that I was using to work out of was the most productive and positive.
From Hidden Gem to Crown Jewel, This New England Eco-Fashion Brand is On a Mission to Create Social Change
A few months ago, I was asked to speak at my very first event post launching CKO PR, and at the event I met one of the most inspiring women that I’ve come across in a while. Her name is Jackelyn Dacanay and she runs THE ART OF FATE – an eco-fashion brand that’s on a mission to create social change.

The weather in Boston has been all over the place lately. I blogged a couple months ago about how excited I was that spring was almost here, and then just days later we got hit with freezing temps once again (spoke too soon, I guess!). Before launching this blog, I was asked why. Why did I want to start a blog? The answer was an easy one, and one that I’ve thought about for a very long time.
I want to tell the stories that don’t often get told; the stories behind the people and businesses that are keeping our local communities alive and vibrant.
So, given that this will be filled with many short stories, I thought it was only fitting that I start with mine.
