FabFitFun: What’s Inside The Spring Box

Subscription boxes are all the rage right now. And for good reason! They’re convenient, they allow you to try multiple items at one time, and what’s in the box is always a surprise. (Who doesn’t like those!?)

You can pretty much get a box for just about anything. For the fashionista: Stitch Fix. For the beauty junkie: Birchbox.  For the foodie: Hello Fresh. And then…there’s FabFitFun.

Unlike most boxes, the FabFitFun box has a mix of everything. Well, not everything, but a lot of stuff! I’ve been eyeing this box for some time, but I hadn’t pulled the trigger. Frankly, I wasn’t sure the box would be worth it. (It’s $49.99 per box – pst, discount below!) But after a friend gushed about how amazing her recent box was (shout out to LJ!), I had to check it out for myself.

Before you can get your box, you’re asked to fill out a quick style profile. This is so that the stylists at FFF can get an idea of your personal likes and dislikes so that down the line, they can customize your box. It took me just a few minutes to fill out my profile and my first box was on its way!

About a week later…I had the most gorgeous package waiting for me on the porch.

There’s nothing quite like coming home to a package on your doorstep, amiright?!

Alright, let’s get to it. So, what’s in the box?

The Spring box came with nine items –  a value of $370!

Rosarco Milk Reparative Leave-In Conditioning Spray by Briogeo

Retails for $20

This leave-in treatment is super light-weight and is fortified with rosehip, argan and coconut oils to keep your locks hydrated and soft. Smells lovely, too!

Deep Nude Lip Kit by RealHer

Retails for $48

This kit comes with a lip liner, plumping gloss and a liquid matte lipstick. This alone is worth what I paid for the box! I love the nude color, too. I have a hard time finding nude shades that I like, but this one is awesome. It’s the perfect “everyday” shade.

I’m wearing the “Deep Nude” liquid lipstick.

Microdermabrasion Age Defying Exfoliator by Dr. Brandt

Retails for $79

It’s recommended that you only exfoliate 1-2 times a week, when using a microderm formula, so I’ve only used it once so far, but my skin has never felt so smooth and looked so bright! This specific formula contains aluminum oxide crystals and smoothing botanicals to polish away dead cells.

“Joshua Tree” Cage Bracelet by Emerald Duv

Retails for $80

This cuff is so chic and simple, the perfect addition to any outfit.

Roundie by Gypsy 05

This beautiful piece of art can be used at the beach, a picnic, or hung as a tapestry. My choice: beach. Definitely. And, it’s HUGE, so there’s definitely room for two. Or three!

Retails for $50

Zip Pouch by Milly

Retails for $45

Speaking of the beach, this little pouch is the perfect bag to toss all your essentials into when hitting the sand. Sometimes I don’t want a huge beach bag, but of course I need my phone and lip gloss – that’s where this guy comes in.

Hydrating+ Face Mask by Karuna

Retails for $28

This deep-conditioning mask is packed full of nourishing ingredients for the ultimate hydration. It’s made of 100% natural wood-pulp fiber (so cool!), so it allows your pores to absorb every drop!

Nail Polish Set by Deborah Lippmann

Retails for $19

This set is spring in a bottle. The white color is called “Like a Virgin” (fitting), and the soft pink is called “Shape of My Heart”. The duo make for a perfect #ManiMonday.

Hair, Skin and Nails Gummies by Nature’s Bounty

IMG_1539 (1)
Retails for $8.99

Packed with Biotin (the stuff that makes your hair and nails tough!), these Strawberry-flavored gummies are too good. Seriously. They’re like Pringles! Once you pop, you just can’t stop! But you must. They’re a vitamin, not a candy. (A reminder to myself!)

So there you have it! That’s the Spring 2017 FabFitFun box. The way that this subscription service works is on a seasonal basis, so the next box will be the Summer 2017 box. *Though the Spring box is still available now – for a limited time!

If you’re interested in checking out FabFitFun, you can get $10 off your first box, making it only $39.99! Seriously, it’s a total steal (see above). Want in? Use this link to get the deal, and reap the rewards!

Ready, Set, Teatox!

I hate tea. Always have. But I so desperately want to like it. I’ve tried so many times. I’ve tried all the styles – green, black, herbal. All the flavors – from fruits to flowers. Cold. Hot. You name it, I’ve tried it.

So when I was approached by LumiTea, a Miami-based tea company to partner with them, I honestly didn’t know what to say. Do I really want to go down this path again? Before making any rash decisions, I did my research. What I found was astonishing; the reviews on LumiTea are nothing short of incredible. People are obsessed with this tea!

After reading dozens upon dozens of rave reviews, I decided that perhaps it was time to give the tea game another try. I opted for the popular 30 Day Detox – a combo of Skinny Tea (morning time tea to bust bloat), and Colon Cleanse (nighttime tea to clear the pipes!).

While I’m only  a couple days in (and going strong, I might add!), I’ve got to say…the tea isn’t that bad. I mean,  clearly I’m no tea person (as noted above), but it’s super light and not overly flavorful (which to me is a good thing!). And it seems to be working. I won’t go into too many details (ha!), but the Skinny Tea in the morning keeps me full until lunch, and the Colon Cleanse is just strong enough to where it works, yet not too powerful so to change/interrupt my normal routine. So, yeah! Me and my “teatox” are off and running!

Perfect timing too, because in 30 days (to be exact), I’ll be laying on the sunny beaches of Key West! So, if anyone is interested in teatoxing with me, use my code “COURTNEY” at checkout to get 20% off!
