Seriously though…brb because I can’t even keep up with what’s the latest and greatest and it’s actually my job! 🤪 That said, I can only imagine what it’s like out there for people that are genuinely curious about CBD. CBD by the way, is short for Cannabidiol, one of the many chemical compounds found in marijuana and hemp. Thing is, you’re probably already familiar with THC, which is another compound found in the cannabis plant. But unlike THC, CBD isn’t psychoactive. Meaning, it doesn’t get you high like THC does. To Float…or Not to Float: My First Experience with Float Therapy at Cloud 9

About a year ago – maybe less – is the first time that I was introduced to floating. Or, float therapy – as some call it. It’s a specialty wellness experience offered at Cloud 9 in Jamaica Plain (about 10 min south of the downtown Boston). Floating (also known as sensory deprivation therapy) is where you immerse yourself into a 200-gallon pod that’s filled with about 800-1,000 pounds (!!) of salt, on average.
